Have We Reached Fullwave Sonic P&S Wireline-Immunity Through LWD Advantages?

LWD Quadrupole as well as WL Dipole Fullwave Sonic data were acquired in the 8.5” reservoir section of a wellbore in the Norwegian continental shelf. A comparison of LWD and WL results is presented, including real-time pore-pressure estimates.
We use LogIC software from Logicom E&P for all sonic full waveform processing.
