The Name

Eriksfiord is the fjord in Greenland were Erik “the Red” founded a settlement in 986. In 1002, his son Leif “the Happy” visited Newfoundland, which we then used to call Vinland. A story of always trying a new and different approach instead of getting dependent on tradition.
