For Eriksfiord’s 25th anniversary, we went to Newfoundland, where Leif Eriksson founded Vinland, the first Viking settlement in North America around 1000 AD. Newfoundland has a very complex geological history, including unique exposures of the Ediacaran fauna at Mistaken Point. The photo shows the Cambrian–Ordovician boundary at Green Point.
